Indianapolis Colts (6-0) at Carolina Panthers (4-2) (Sunday, 1:00 pm Eastern – CBS)

Current Line at SBG: Colts -6.5 (-115), Total 44.5
The unbeaten Indianapolis Colts will try and focus on the Carolina Panthers this week and not look ahead to next week’s game against the unbeaten New England Patriots. The Colts are coming off a 29-7 win over Jacksonville on Monday and have now won 11 straight games including the playoffs last year. Early betting has the public taking Colts on the Road.

Indianapolis Head coach Tony Dungy said this year’s Colts team is better than last year’s Super Bowl team. Last week quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 259 yards and a touchdown while Reggie Wayne caught nine passes for 131 yards, and Joseph Addai and Kenton Keith combined for 141 yards rushing. The defense held Jacksonville to 226 total yards. "I think we're playing better football than we were playing in November and December last year," Dungy said. "We've been playing teams that have been hot or at the top of their division. The games have all been very meaningful games and we've been able to fight through a lot of things and win them."

The Colts have a tough game this week since it is a short week after the Monday night game. "I reminded the team that four years ago we won a big Monday night game and had to come back and play Carolina on six days rest and we didn't win," Dungy said. "We'll focus on that."

The Panthers are 3-0 all-time against the Colts but have not played them in four years. The Panthers won 25-10 against Arizona two weeks ago and had a bye last week. Carolina does have a quandary at quarterback as David Carr may return this week but Vinny Testaverde played so well in relief that there could be a quarterback battle brewing.
