Opening Line at SBG: Senators -170, Total 6 Flat
Current Line at SBG: Senators -160, Total 6 Under (-125)
The Atlanta Thrashers will look to get their first win of the season as they host the undefeated Ottawa Senators on Wednesday. Ottawa is getting great goaltending from backup Martin Gerber who is filling in for the injured Ray Emery. Gerber has a 1.73 goals-against average so far this season. Gerber is 14-0-2 with a 2.02 GAA in 16 appearances since Dec. 23rd of last year. Gerber lost his job last season to Emery and never got it back as Emery led the Senators to the Stanley Cup Finals. Ottawa this season is off to the best start in the league at 4-0-0. "It's always a work in progress," said Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson, "You always try to tweak some things and I'm sure the coaches will come up with things we can do a lot better, but right now we're feeling pretty good."
