The defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs open up defense of their title on Tuesday night as they host the Portland Trail Blazers. This was expected to be the debut of Portland’s Greg Oden but that will have to wait a year as Oden had surgery in the off-season and is expected to miss this year. The Spurs head into the season as one of the favorites to repeat with all of their superstar players returning.
